Why do we love Old Town? Where do we even start? The list of attributes seems endless…
Old Town provides the charm of small town living with Big City access. Let’s talk options: metro, car, and water taxi are the big 3. We can get anywhere from here and take advantage of sporting events (Go Nats! Go Caps!), concert venues, museums, fabulous dining, shopping, The Kennedy Center, the sights of DC; you name it, and we are there! Having Reagan Airport right around the corner is a huge bonus.
The walkability is downright amazing. We travel on foot to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores: anything you might need is within reach. Waterfront walks and heading down the Mt Vernon trail are some of our favorite things. Did we mention access??? It seems to be a theme living here.
Can you say Dog Crazy? Yes, Old Town loves the four-legged friends and in this regard, we fit right in.

As a former military family, this is the longest we have ever lived in one location. We honestly thought the urge to pick up and move would hit, but 5 years later, our love affair with Old Town continues.
