Our family moved to the Palisades from Georgetown in 2012. We love the Palisades for many reasons: The character bungalows, diverse neighbors, the spectacular sunsets and the beautiful views of wildlife soaring over the Potomac river. The extensive trail system is amazing for outdoor dog lovers like us. We love walking to the quaint farmer’s market on Sundays and enjoying some of the region’s best restaurants, such as, Black Salt, Et Voila, Bistro Aracosia and others. Mac market is family owned and has great sandwiches and grocery items. .
We have easy access to Georgetown, Bethesda and both airports. Best of all, the Palisades is full of wonderful families and people (some real characters too:) and if you are dog person, you will get to know so many people and the dogs will enhance your life!
