Sometimes we find ourselves with a high number of sales in a specific neighborhood. Kalorama is a neighborhood we have dominated over the past year with the largest sales.
This year has found us with a stronghold in Kalorama. The Kimberly & Daryl Team have sold several residences in Kalorama over the years from small condos to very large estates. We have represented clients who have found homes to raise their families, and we have even sold 2446 Belmont Road which the current DC Residence of President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Over the past 12 months, Washington Fine Properties continued to dominate the Kalorama market with more Sellers and Buyers than any other firm in DC. The Kimberly and Daryl Team has represented the most expensive Kalorama home to sell in the past 12 months; 2344 Massachusetts Ave NW. We also represented the second most expensive listing to sell with Bobbie Brewster at 2325 S Street NW as well as the Buyer on the same property.
We dug a little deeper to find there have been 26 sales > $5M in the MLS for Kalorama in the history of recorded sales. Our team has participated in 5 of the 26 sales representing 19% of the largest sales in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Washington DC. This little enclave is home to former Presidents, Secretary of States, Diplomates, the wealthiest person in the world, current Whitehouse staff, Ambassadors, White House Press Secretaries, Senators, Members of Congress and every day residents.
