WE LOVE LOGAN CIRCLE!

Even during Covid 19, the historic Logan Circle area makes a big impression. It’s a wonderful mix of grand houses, quaint apartments, and people of all stripes. Trees and flower-filled gardens line the many streets. Outdoor dining takes some of the loneliness out of working from home. The busy Whole Foods and VIDA gym make for great people watching.

Logan, as it’s known, has many conveniences so you rarely have to leave, but at its heart it’s an arts district. Hopefully, we’ll see the wonderful theaters like Studio and Keegan and quirky shops like Miss Pixie’s open their doors again soon.

When going out with friends, our favorites include: Pearl Dive’s outdoor bar, Le Dip’s steak frites, Colada’s Cuban coffee and Jeni’s Ice Cream.

Like so many DC neighborhoods, Logan has a rich African-American history. Check out the many markers and colorful murals and learn all about the many famous people and humble heroes that have made it so memorable.
