Georgetown Mansion Once Owned By Jackie O’s Mom Sells for $8.6 Million

“The home was built in 1874 and is on the National Register of Historic Places, according to the real estate brokerage. The first owner was physician Armistead Peter, a descendant of Georgetown’s first mayor, Robert Peter. The house at 3044 O St, NW went to Janet Lee Bouvier (Jackie Kennedy’s mother) in 1963. It was the scene of parties for various dignitaries including a retirement party for Letitia Baldridge, the White House social secretary during the Kennedy administration.”
